Features of 6061 Aluminum Sheet

In terms of corrosion resistance, the 6061 aluminum sheet is the highest in its class of heat-treated aluminum. This makes it suitable for heavy structures and marine environments. The product has a protective film that helps prevent corrosion. For further corrosion resistance, other coatings or anodization can be used.

The conductivity of alloy 6061 is 40% that of copper. It is often used in the electrical field in the form of electrical accessories and connectors.
