First. Production process:

1. Hot rolling:

Starting from a thicker aluminum plate ingot, it is heated at high temperature and then rolled into shape by a hot rolling mill. The hot rolling process is relatively simple, easy to operate, and can achieve high-speed continuous production, which is suitable for mass production. Hot-rolled aluminum coils are rolled at high temperatures. The advantage is that the rolling speed is fast and large quantities of aluminum coils can be produced.

2. Cold rolling:

Starting from the cast coil processed by the cast roll machine, it is further processed by the cold rolling mill. This process is carried out at room temperature or low temperature, and requires a higher rolling pressure to achieve deformation. Cold rolling does not require heating, and has lower energy consumption than hot rolling, reducing energy consumption and environmental pollution.

1. Hot rolling raw materials are mainly cast aluminum ingots, which are heated and rolled to form aluminum coils for cold rolling.

During the hot rolling process, the aluminum sheet undergoes high-temperature plastic deformation, the coarse grains inside are broken, and the micro cracks are healed, making the internal structure of the aluminum sheet more uniform and the mechanical properties significantly improved. In addition, the oxidation effect of hot-rolled aluminum sheet is also good, which can meet a variety of processing needs.

2. Cold-rolled aluminum sheet is favored for its highly uniform surface, small thickness tolerance, excellent bending and tensile properties and ductility. These performance advantages make cold-rolled aluminum sheet widely used in mold manufacturing and other fields.

1. Hot-rolled aluminum sheet is more suitable for stamping and stretching processes due to its good mechanical properties and ductility, such as automobile manufacturing, construction and other industries.

2. Cold-rolled aluminum sheet is widely used in mold manufacturing, precision instruments and instrument manufacturing due to its good surface quality, high dimensional accuracy and excellent bending and tensile properties.

Generally speaking, hot-rolled aluminum coils are often used as raw materials for further processing such as cold rolling. The physical properties and appearance quality of aluminum coils processed by cold rolling will be significantly improved.
