Introduction to 3005 aluminum plate

3005 aluminum plate belongs to Al-Mn alloy. The strength of 3005 aluminum plate is about 20% higher than that of 3003 aluminum plate, and its corrosion resistance is also better. 3000 series aluminum plate can also be called rust-proof aluminum plate. The production process of 3000 series aluminum plate in my country is relatively excellent. 3000 series aluminum plate is mainly composed of manganese element, with a content between 1.0-1.5. It is a series with better anti-rust function, with a higher price than 1000 series, and is a more commonly used alloy series.

Like 3003/3004, 3005 aluminum plate cannot be strengthened by heat treatment, and its mechanical properties can only be improved by cold processing.
