What is 1060 aluminum sheet?

Same as 1050 aluminum sheet, 1060 aluminum sheet also belongs to 1000 series pure aluminum sheet;
1060 aluminum sheet is called 1060 aluminum sheet because the aluminum content of 1060 aluminum is 99.6%;

1060 aluminum plate usages

1060 aluminum plate has the same high electrical conductivity, plasticity, ductility, and high elongation and tensile strength as 1050 aluminum plate, but its strength is not high.

• 1060 aluminum plate has low strength: 1060 aluminum plate is a kind of soft aluminum plate with low strength, which is usually suitable for applications that do not require high strength.
• The corrosion resistance of 1060 aluminum plate is limited: the corrosion resistance of 1060 aluminum plate is relatively poor, and it needs surface treatment to improve its corrosion resistance.
• Poor formability of 1060 aluminum plate: Although 1060 aluminum plate has good processing performance, its formability is relatively poor, and professional processing is required for products with complex shapes.
• Poor weldability of 1060 aluminum plate: The weldability of 1060 aluminum plate is relatively poor, and proper welding methods and techniques are required to achieve good welding results.
